Although for most of us heading back to the Dooley Memorial Building after finishing an exhausting day of classes is wholly unappealing, the Cosford Cinema provides UM students with awesome movie night options every week!
The Cinematic Arts Commission (CAC) hosts movie nights at the Cosford every week on Wednesday at 8:00 pm and again at 10:00 pm, and here’s the best part – they’re free! The Cosford will have great options, including movies you may have recently missed in theaters and some you’ve loved for years. So far, the CAC has shown 21 Jump Street, the Hunger Games, and Men in Black 3. If you missed them, don’t worry – there will be plenty more movies in the weeks ahead.
For all the Disney fans out there, the Cosford will be showing Tarzan on Sept 26th and Brave of Oct 3rd. Later on, they will display the classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on Oct 10th, and will showcase current blockbusters like The Avengers (10/17), Prometheus (11/7), and The Dark Knight Rises (11/28). Make Hump Day a little more fun by taking advantage of this convenient and free way to brighten up your week.
