It was a drizzling, wet night in Wynwood for this month’s Artwalk, so people crowded inside to enjoy live music and art. The UM gallery is showcasing graduate student Sean Black’s thesis project: beautifully lit square format portraits of homeless people living in Florida. The saloon next door had a perky folk duo performing for a comfortable audience spread out on couches in front of the stage. The Wynwood Walls were popping as usual with a great lady DJ sporting bleached blonde dreds and spinning jazz remixes for the crowd to dance to. As the galleries began to close, masses spilled into the surrounding bars for a dry place to enjoy drinks.
