Valentine’s day is not only about being with your one true love. “10 Things I Hate About You” (1999)
Kat Stratford (Julia Stiles) is your typical teen that is intimidating and does not have any boys after her. She has a younger sister, Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) who wants to date, but their father says that Bianca cannot date until her older sister dates. A new “hottie” comes to town, Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger), and he falls in love with Kat but she doesn’t want anything to do with him.

Cheetah Girls (2003)
“Amigas! Cheetahs! Friends for life!” If you are not feeling this Valentine’s Day, then you have to watch “Cheetah Girls”. Four girls (Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, Sabrina Bryan) that live in New York City, go after their dream of becoming a famous girl group. A Disney classic that gets you up dancing and reminiscing about your middle school days.

LGBTQ+ romance
”Call Me By Your Name” (2017)
An Academy Award nominated film, “Call Me By Your Name” follows the love story of 17-year-old Elio (Timothee Chalamet) and his father’s research assistant (Armie Hammer) in Northern Italy in the 80s during the summer. This film has wonderful cinematography, and an astonishing soundtrack. Definitely a must-watch!

All-I-Wanna-Do-Is-Cry
“The Fault in Our Stars” (2014)
Based on John Green’s book, “The Fault in Our Stars” tells the story of two teenagers, Hazel Grace (Shailene Woodley) and Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort) that meet in a cancer support group. The story unfolds as they fall in love and travel to Amsterdam. (If you definitely want to cry, this is the one.)
