Miami escaped an upset with a 24-19 win against the North Carolina Tar Heels to continue to 7-0!
On Saturday, October 28th, the 8th ranked Canes overcame a banged up North Carolina team to win 24-19!
Total Yards Gained// 415
Passing & Receiving// Starting QB Malik Rosier threw for 356 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Freshman Jeff Thomas had a great game, leading receivers with 3 catches, 101 yards, and a TD.
Rushing //Travis Homer rushed for 40 yards on 16 carries.
Defense // Miami’s defense did a great job holding UNC on two goal line stands which proved crucial in the win. The defense also forced four turnovers as well.
Turnover Chain SZN// Miami had the chain used four times in the game.
Special Teams// Michael Badgley was 1/2 on field goal attempts.
