Spinoffs That Should Happen

The internet was alight with excitement when Raven Symoné announced that her hit Disney TV series ‘That’s So Raven’ would be returning in the form of a spinoff. The co-host of ‘The View’, Symoné shared that she will play her original character, Raven Baxter. However, she is now a single mother of two whose daughter discovers she has the same psychic abilities as her mom.

Bringing back 90s and 00s favorites has been a recent trend with ‘Full House’ and ‘Boy Meets World’ spinoffs making their comebacks as ‘Fuller House’ and ‘Girl Meets World’, respectively. Here are some other throwback shows that we think should make their own comebacks.

1. Lizzie McGuire

Disney always pulled through with the best shows back in the day and Lizzie McGuire was a prime example. Ever since Hillary Duff said that she’d be down for a reunion, everyone’s been wondering about a potential spinoff. Who knows, maybe 2017 will bring something special? *fingers crossed* Bonus Tip: The Lizzie McGuire movie is on Netflix.

2. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

Although we did get the Suite Life on Deck when the original show ended, it’s hard for anyone to say that they didn’t miss these characters and their shenanigans. It’s only been 5 years since the finale though so we’ll probably have to wait a bit longer before this one comes back.

3. Drake and Josh

Who didn’t love this show? These step-brothers and their constant bickering always had us dying with laughter. What we’d give to see Megan play another prank on them.

4. Zoey 101

This series had everyone wishing they went to a boarding school like PCA. The show made a small return when its creator, Dan Schneider, released a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0YBNsRTtQI) finally revealing to fans after 10 years what Zoey said about Chase in her time capsule. The clip left fans buzzing about the possibility of a spinoff but unfortunately there’s no word yet of it ever happening.
