Picture yourself strolling along the beach only to find a group of tanned, beautiful models playing volleyball in the sand. Yes, that may describe an episode of Baywatch, but it also describes the scene on South Beach this weekend! The Fourth Annual Model Beach Volleyball Tournament, presented by Bimini Bay Resort, will take place this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, February 9th and 10th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). The tournament, which supports the Irie Foundation, will take place at Lummus Park, located at 8th and Ocean Drive on South Beach. MBVT, a free event, attracts over 2,000 spectators, so make sure to come early to get a glimpse of all the beauty in such close proximity.
