With Miami becoming a mecca for electronic music, this year’s ULTRA Music Festival will surely blow the minds of the house-heads, as well as the house-newbs coming from all over the world to experience the 3 day rage-fest. Hurricane Productions has reached out to Canes who love rap, pop, and rock & roll, but has yet to bring the mixers, synthesizers and ridiculous lighting packages that come along with the new genre that is sweeping up the world in neon-ware: electronica.
Here’s your warning now Canes! Have a fun, safe time at ULTRA this weekend, but then rest up for a couple weeks to re-prepare for another dance party on your very own campus. Hurricane Productions is bringing its first DJ to U! Diplo will be performing at the Bank United Center on April 12, 2012 at 8 p.m..
Free tickets will be distributed to all students with a valid Cane Card beginning March 26 at the UC Ticket Window. If tickets remain, students can pick up one additional ticket for a friend beginning April 2, when faculty and staff can pick up a ticket as well.
Get ready Canes! Diplo will headline after Miami Chainsaw Massacre and Troy Kurtz kick off the night. This one will be one for the books. CAN YOU FEEL IT!?
