This past weekend at UM, there were many happenings all around campus for Homecoming. The first event of the weekend was the parade, which included over 40 organizations, Greek life, the Band of the Hour, and famous football alumni. After the parade, the ‘Hurricane Howl’ began. This included the amazing fireworks and boat burning on Lake Osceola, which was introduced by Donna Shalala, Sebastian, and the Grand Marshal. Afterwards, a majority of Canes fans hit the variety of food trucks in Stanford Circle. The closing act was done by Lupe Fiasco at the Bank United Center at 10pm, a great finale to the night.
