On Thursday, KAOS, UM’s first co-ed hip hop dance team, hosted its end-of-semester showcase. KAOS’s entire showcase was self choreographed and featured dance styles such as hip hop, contemporary and tap. It was a night of dance, talent and music hosted by MC Jake Gillman of Reel Humor. The event took place at the Rock and attracted a standing-room only crowd after all of the seats filled. Featured in the KAOS showcase was the ever-so-popular booty shaking contest (where audience members volunteered themselves to shake their stuff on stage), the famous intermission when boy members of KAOS select some lucky ladies from the audience for a lap dance and special guest performances by other dance teams in the area such as Sean’s Dance Factory.
