Go Bananas For Yonanas With These 3 Recipes

Instagram’s favorite breakfast is a breeze to recreate at home thanks to Yonanas, the frozen treat machine of your dreams. From açaí bowls to fruit sorbet to “nice cream,” the possibilities are endless with this unique soft-serve blender. Get your hands on one right away, if you haven’t already! Then read on for three sweet recipes.

DIY Açaí Bowl 

Seriously, you won’t be missing Pura Vida’s $12 bowl once you whip this up. Your taste buds and wallet will thank you. 

DIY AÇAI BOWL

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Without opening the bag, use your hands to break apart the frozen açaí into pieces. Then cut open the packet with scissors and squeeze out the açaí onto a plate.
  2. Insert the banana and açaí chunks down the chute of the Yonanas, alternating ingredients. Position a bowl underneath the mouth of the Yonanas. 
  3. Flip the switch to on and press down on the handle to churn. Once the churning stops, disassemble the parts to scoop out the remaining contents from inside.
  4. Finish off your açaí bowl with your favorite toppings, serve and enjoy!

Mixed Berry Sorbet

All berries, no BS.

MIXED BERRY SORBET

  1. Insert the frozen berries down the chute of the Yonanas. Position a bowl underneath the mouth of the Yonanas. 
  2. Flip the switch to on and press down on the handle to churn. Once the churning stops, disassemble the parts to scoop out the remaining contents from inside.
  3. Sprinkle with more berries and eat right away! Chill any leftovers in the freezer to enjoy later. 

Oreo “Nice Cream”

A dairy-free, vegan-friendly remix of cookies ‘n’ cream that’s even better than the real deal.

OREO “NICE CREAM”

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Place 3 Oreos in a Ziploc bag and seal tightly. Pound the bag with your fist until the Oreos are well crushed. Reserve the last Oreo.
  2. Insert the banana and Oreo crumbles down the chute of the Yonanas, alternating ingredients. Position a bowl underneath the mouth of the Yonanas. 
  3. Flip the switch to on and press down on the handle to churn. Once the churning stops, disassemble the parts to scoop out the remaining contents from inside.
  4. Garnish with an Oreo and eat right away! Chill any leftovers in the freezer to enjoy later.
