Georgia Tech Recap: 5-0

Miami won an incredibly close and exciting game against Georgia Tech!

On Saturday, October 14th, the now 7th or 8th ranked Canes looked overcame the

Triple option offense ran by Georgia Tech to win at the end of the game.

Total Yards Gained// 481

Passing & Receiving// Starting QB Malik Rosier again showed toughness and poise by delivering a couple of fantastic drives at the end of the 4th quarter to lead the Canes to victory. Darrell Langham again showed 4th quarter heroics to keep the final drive alive. Langham also led all receivers with 100 yards.

Rushing //Travis Homer did terrific in his starting debut this year by leading all rushers with 170 yards and a TD.

Defense // Miami’s defense did a great job with tackles for a loss and limiting the nation’s 3rd best rushing offense to 221 rushing yards, which is way lower than their average of 362 yards.

Special Teams//  Michael Badgley was a perfect 4/4 kicking, including the game-winning field goal with 4 seconds left in the game.

This upcoming Saturday, the 7/8 ranked  Canes are playing the Syracuse Orange who just came up with a massive upset against previously ranked 2 Clemson!
