As October rolls around many of us rejoice (hello Pumpkin Spice Lattes), but we also say a tearful goodbye to Fashion Month. During the Spring 2017 shows in New York City, London, Milan and Paris there were plenty of celebrity sightings and sneak peeks at the upcoming trends. And of course, Kim Kardashian had everyone talking about her while she was held hostage in Paris.
Celebrity Sightings
During the month long fashion extravaganza, the celebrity sightings were plentiful. There were the front row regulars such as Carine Roitfeld, Olivia Palermo, Rihanna and Alexa Chung. As well as new faces including Natalie Portman, Andrew Garfield, Aziz Ansari and Taylor Swift. Taylor Hill, Jenner sisters, Hailey Baldwin and Hadid sisters which are all known as the fashion “It” girls not only took over the runway, but also Instagram with their pictures.
New Trends
Balmain, Chloé, Burberry, Valentino, Opening Ceremony and Alexander Wang were some of the designers that showcased their collections. The much anticipated collaboration between Tommy Hilfiger and Gigi Hadid debuted during New York Fashion Week in a circus themed show, where Hadid walked the runway. You can be expecting neon colors, sheer tops and 80s silhouettes to be everywhere this Spring. Off the shoulder tops and mismatched shoes are making their way into the Spring as well.
Kim Kardashian Shocks the World
Kim Kardashian along with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, were spotted all over Fashion Month. However, during the last week in Paris, Kim was held at gunpoint in her hotel room. Although she escaped unharmed, the robbers stole $10 million and left everyone talking about her. Kendall Jenner, who was expected to walk in the Chanel show, and Kris Jenner left Paris Fashion Week early to be with Kim.
