Lil Wayne- Rebirth: Lil Wayne can do no wrong (at least in the confines of an album cover), but his next album, Rebirth, is going where few rappers have ventured before: rock music. Wayne’s rock debut, which will also include some new rap tracks, is an experiment for the monstrously popular hip hop star. The song “Prom Queen” sounds promising, for it demonstrates how Wayne rocks out without losing his gangster flair. Whether Lil Wayne’s risk will pay off is still in question, but what remains regardless is his status as one of the forefront rap pioneers of the decade.
