HP Concerts presents Two Friends & COIN

The American indie legends that are COIN are group of four friends, Chase Lawrence, Ryan Winnen, Joel Memmel and Zachary Dyke. The Nashville natives formed in 2012 creating a new wave of pop-rock indie. Their most popular song by far is “Talk too Much” and is a playful upbeat song that I listen to every chance I get. COIN is mostly known for their electronic indie feel good songs about beautiful girls. There music is BOMB and I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Two Friends
Two Friends are a DJ Duo from LA and are notoriously known for their iconic playlists such as “Big Bootie Mix Vol 11.” The “two friends” are Eli Sones and Matthew Harper who grew to fame in 2014 with their remix of “Born to Die” by Lana Del Rey. The pregame-type music has made them the most popular and there performance will be the highlight of the night. The soundcloud DJs just released “Big Bootie Mix Vol 13” Wednesday and it’s a SLAP. If your looking to go hard at the gym I highly recommend Vol 11.
Hurricane Concerts will continue their annual tradition of the Canes Carnival with new-elected Chair Carly Damelio bringing the party.
Damelio says that HP Concerts decided on the two artists because,“aside from having great music we wanted to bring artists who would put on a great show. We knew that COIN and Two Friends would do just that.”
The Music Business and Entertainment Industries major is thrilled about the indie pop group COIN and childhood amigos Two Friends performing.
COIN has just finished “their sold-out North-American tour ” and HP concerts believed that it “would be cool to snag COIN before they blow up.”
Two Friends has also been touring across college campuses and Damelio is excited to, “see the personality they bring to their set at Canes Carnival.”
Freshman Jessa Selsor is ecstatic for Canes Carnival as she is a big fan of the act, COIN. The Green Committee member and avid festival attender is ecstatic to see Two Friends and COIN perform live.
“I am a big fan of great music and concerts are literally my favorite thing ever,” Selsor said. “It’s fantastic for the school to actually put on things like this. Most of us are so broke and don’t have the money to go to see people live so it’s just nice to know we can still go.”
