Freshman architecture major Christel Orbe showcases her fall style in a printed sweater, Zara leggings and ankle strap ballet flats purchased from Marshalls.
Fall is in the air. The leaves begin to dust the ground and students curl up in Starbucks with hot cocoa and our piles of schoolwork. Just kidding – we’re in Miami. Fall is more a distant season that some of us may have experienced living elsewhere or, for others, true fall weather may just be an ongoing mystery. However, that doesn’t mean typical Fall trends like patterned sweaters, woodsy green and cream hues and soft as silk scarves are off limits
Freshman architecture major Christel Orbe is a perfect example that there is no need to wait for the thermometer to dip to embrace Fall trends. She pairs her versatile, lighter-weight Zara leggings with an awesome sweater that mixes patterns (yet another of this season’s hottest trends) with stripes and vibrant-colored wings on the sleeves. Even better, she stole this piece from her mom’s closet; her mom must be pretty cool.
Finally, she finishes off her ensemble with ballet flats with a flattering ankle strap and a dash of sparkle with studs and a necklace. We think she rocks the house – beauty, brains and style-wise.
