Sunday, March 30. marked the last day of Ultra Music Festival 2014 and concluded the long, zealous, (month-long) week of Miami’s Winter Music Conference (WMC). While most people were enjoying the last day of Ultra, some “older folks,” (those that have been to Ultra before and are ages 21+) decided to try something new.
From noon- 10 p.m. dubstep and hardcore drum and bass fans headed over to the Clevelander in South Beach to enjoy a top-notch pool party sponsored by UKF (one of the world’s leading electronic music brands).
The event was hosted by Disidente and Jumanji and included performances by A-Sides, Buku, Dirtyphonics, Distal, Emalkay, Jubilee, Juan Basshead, Kastle, Otto Von Schirach, Pegboard Nerds, Protohype, Rackup and Pinion, Savant, Swindle, Truth, and Twofold, plus a very special guest.
And boy, was it a very special guest, indeed. The special performer was none other than Leighton James from Adventure Club. During his hour long set, he brought fans a variety of brand new, intense and filthy hardcore dubstep mixed with intense drum and bass. Artists Zomboy and Oscar Wylde also made appearances.
