Any avid Netflix watcher knows about the importance of having snacks. No Netflix binge is complete without it. Everyone has different preferences: sweet, salty or sour. Of course, there are rules as to what snacks should be consumed. For example, something too crunchy is a hard no – it causes too much noise and makes it hard to listen. Thus, we rounded up five of the best snack options that you can choose from for your Netflix binge.
1. Nutella & Go
Calling all chocolate lovers! I thought Nutella was the greatest invention in this world, but I have been proven wrong: Nutella & Go has topped it. It’s the best of both worlds because you get two for one. Besides being mess-free, it tastes amazing. On one side of the container you have the Nutella (#blessed) and in the other, you get mini breadsticks. Also, you don’t run the risk of eating an entire jar of Nutella by yourself.
2. Ice Cream
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. My ice cream of choice is Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough, but there are a TON of different flavors to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. If you are lactose intolerant, not to worry, because you can buy sorbet instead of ice cream.
3. Popcorn
We couldn’t make this list without including popcorn. You can choose salty, sweet or movie theatre butter style. It’s easy and fast. Just put the popcorn bag in the microwave and wait three minutes until your little piece of heaven begins popping. A healthier version that doesn’t require any extra time in the microwave is “Boom Chicka Pop” popcorn; it comes already popped in a bag and it’s only 35 calories per cup.
4. Sour Patch Kids
For those that prefer sour, you will love Sour Patch Kids. They are right amount of chewy and shaped like kids, which can’t get any cuter. Make sure you get the kids and not the watermelon version.
5. Carrots with Hummus
For those times when you have to be healthy, carrots with hummus are a great option. You can buy baby carrots, so you don’t have to cut them up. The brand Sabra sells little containers of hummus that are the perfect serving size and can be easily thrown out once you are done.
