With game day right around the corner, it’s time to start stirring about where you’ll be going and what you’re going to wear. If you’re anything like me—as in allergic to the idea of wearing an NFL Jersey—then you might find yourself stressing over your outfit. Whether you are hosting a party, watching it at a friend’s or tuning in at a bar, there’s no reason why you can’t look effortlessly chic. If we’re being honest, game day isn’t exactly a high fashion soirée, but you should stay stylish without looking too extravagant…we all know that girl.
The key to turning heads at the superbowl gathering is being comfortable and confident. If you’re a dedicated fan of the Pats or the Giants, try wearing your team’s colors. If you’re more of neutral gal like myself, try a casually crisp look. You can never go wrong with a classic look like this plain white American Apparel Tee paired with casual boyfriend jeans. Pull it all together with some Osborn Floral Lace-up Flats, adding a pop to the neutral get-up.
Jeans, Zara, $13. White tank, American Apparel, $17. Necklace, Anthropologie, $58. Floral lace up flats, Osborn, Shopbop, $180.
I don’t know about you, but online shopping is a personal fix, and ShopBop is a specific weakness of mine. Vince is one of my favorite brands because the collections provide simple basics with a subtle smart vibe that pulls together any outfit. Their orange hued palette this season goes with almost everyone’s skin complexion, and works fabulously for the spring. Match some coral ankle jeans with a lightweight denim blouse and throw on some See by Chloe Broad Band sandals to add instant style.
Friendship bracelet, Urban Outfitters, $16. Ankle strap sandals, See by Chloe, Shopbop, $250. Denim shirt, Vince, Shopbop, $225. Coral jeans, Vince, Shopbop, $195.
These adorable pecan leather shorts are just right for the laidback Super Bowl sunday style. There are few looks more interesting than mixing textures like leather and silk. Any girl can flawlessly rock this Miami look for a warm nighttime game. As for these cork oxfords…well, they’re cork oxfords.
Sunglasses, Garrett Leight, Need Supply, $310. Oxfords, Osborn, Shopbop, $200. Tunic, Vince, Shopbop, $285. Leather shorts, Vince, Shopbop, $445.
Hopefully these looks give you some solid inspiration to go out on Sunday #winning before you even start watching the game. Oh right, the game. Go….cork oxfords!
