Welcome back paisley! And, we’re not talking about the one named “Brad” nor anything remotely associated with Vera Bradley. Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and Stella McCartney (seen above) all feature this re-emerging trend; Paisley is swirling strongly back to the runway and into our hearts.

But, never one to do the same thing twice, both Balenciaga and Stella McCartney incorporated the pattern into their lines in a way that modernized the typically psychedelic style. By adding modern touches like higher slits, shorter hemlines (because a girl has got to show off those legs!), and pairing the styles with trenches so dark and trendy they could be worn by a cooler than cool PI, Paisley came back better and more wearable than ever.
