Ai yai yai Pink

photo and words_alex goldklang.

Sometimes you need a major mid-week refresher, especially during one when you’re slammed with tests and papers. On that note, we couldn’t have cued our run-in with Elizabeth Brasch more perfectly. With a keen eye for a killer composition, this visual art major emphasizes bold color choices and pop art designs in this look. As a nod to the jewel tones seen at the recent NY, London and Milan shows, Elizabeth brightens her outfit with saucy pink BDG high-rise cigarette jeans from Urban Outfitters.

To complete the vibrant color, Elizabeth implements a pop art skull a la dia de los muertos tee and a vintage rainbow braided belt. With a need to stay stylish but practical for all of her travels between Miami, NYC and ATL, Elizabeth is a huge layers enthusiast and drapes her white slouchy American Apparel shawl with almost all her outfits. And, alas, for the accessories. What’s the perfect shoe for a vibrant traveler? Definitely a neutral, comfortable boot, like her pair of brown troopa Steve Madden combats. With such daring clothing, Elizabeth keeps jewelry light with a gold Michael Kors power watch. Clearly, this is working.
